Streetcar Gulag
Devised and Performed by Joshua Kreis McTiernan

What do you get when you mix Blanche Dubois and a Soviet-era Gulag? "Streetcar Gulag" is an eclectic look at The Great South and it's Tragic Fall through the eyes of a drunk. It's also a strange concotion of Kazakh myth, Tennessee Williams, and the good old fashioned ghost story; an anarchic romp through great Southern literature filled with Civil War battles, traditional Kazakh dances, and inappropriate touching. With a full bottle of bourbon and a folk song, our protagnost seeks to answer the age old question: "What happens when the past is the only time you've got left?"

Running Time: 1hr, 15mins.
